Since 2014 Federica is the executive director of the Italian registered charity ‘Un ponte per Anne Frank’ ‘Bridge to Anne Frank’. The charity is supported by numerous Holocaust Survivors, Anne Frank’s family members and friends, teachers, students and more. This is a unique charity in Italy.
Federica opened it on her own, not knowing that it would have happened but deciding to follow her heart. Now, her charity is the Italian partner of the Anne Frank House of Amsterdam, one of the most visited Museum in the whole world. The charity runs several programs: meetings, workshops, trips to Memorial Sites, educational program... Students are always at the centre of each program, encouraging them to learn from the errors of the past and to build a better society today. Its aim is to have young people aware of the dangers of antisemitism, racism, and discrimination, and the importance of freedom and equal rights. |
